Drug sweep with dogs at Brookfield High Officers with drug-sniffing dogs swept Brookfield High School on Thursday morning to ferret out drug activity, though no arrests were made, police said. The school was placed under lockdown -- no one was allowed in or out of the building -- about 9 a.m. as police searched lockers, classrooms, hallways and the school's parking lot for drugs and drug paraphernalia, according to Brookfield police Chief Robin Montgomery. Principal Joseph Palumbo said he announced the impending sweep over the school's intercom system about five minutes before police entered the building.
