Over 250 South Shore doctors to join Blue Cross Blue Shield network

The South Shore Physician Hospital Organization announced today that it will join the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA) Medicare HMO Blue (HMO) and Medicare PPO Blue (PPO) provider networks next year.

 

Milton student to perform at New England Conservatory

Milton High School 11th grader and trombonist, William Hess, will perform in the New England Conservatory Youth Jazz Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11, at New England Conservatory's Brown Hall, 290 Huntington Avenue, Boston. The Conservatory’s Youth Jazz Orchestra is comprised of middle and high school student in the area.

"Curb Appeal" co-host Bill Beckwith, 38, has died in a motorcycle accident, CNN reported. Beckwith was riding his motorcycle in San Francisco when it collided with a vehicle. Beckwith's show was on HGTV.

East Bridgewater police officer files lawsuit against town, police chief

East Bridgewater police officer Joel Silva has filed a lawsuit in federal district court this week against the town and Police Chief John Cowan. Nearly four months after officer Joel Silva returned to work after being fired from his job last year, his lawyer said he is seeking “financial compensation for the money he’s lost, as well as, the emotional toll it’s taken for being out of work for over a year and losing health insurance and being unable to find employment during that time.”
