Today's north Alabama weather: Scattered storm chances, high near 86

There is currently a 40 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms across the Tennessee Valley for today and Thursday. These rain chances are primarily for the afternoon and early evening hours. Rain chances will drop to 30 percent overnight before rising back up Thursday. Storms could generate gusty winds while localized heavy rain and small hail remain the primary hazards.

 

North Alabama Running Roundup: Charity half-marathon in Muscle Shoals, fundraising run in Priceville

DeKalb County investigators, Etowah County drug agents, sheriff's deputies assigned to the U.S. Marshals' Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, Gadsden police and an FBI task force all assisted in finding him.
