Man who robbed restaurant worker while on probation for gun crime gets 7 years

Marquise Brown, 24, pleaded guilty Friday to aggravated robbery, admitting that on Jan. 12, he robbed the employee of a cash-deposit bag as he was taking it to the bank after the restaurant had closed for the day.

 

Champaign man charged with lying about conviction on FOID-card application

Prosecutors said in August 2017, Joseph Livingston, 28, allegedly answered 'no' to a question asking if he'd been convicted of a felony, even though he has a 2014 conviction for driving with a revoked license.

URBANA — A Champaign man facing weapons and drug charges has also been accused of lying on an application to get a firearm owner's identification card.
