In just a week’s time, work will begin at Pourhouse Bar and Grill, one of downtown Loveland’s many restaurants, to expand upward. The bar will be adding a rooftop patio space, featuring both indoor and outdoor options for people waiting for a table downstairs or looking to enjoy the downtown scenery as they sip a drink and eat some food. Chris Kline, who has owned the restaurant for the last 12 years, said he has seen a steady stream of hungry patrons coming to the restaurant continuously over the years, oftentimes leading to people waiting longer and longer for a table. “I noticed a lot of times we’d have so many people come in to eat and they’d (be told) ‘oh we have an hour wait’ and (you) see them turn around and walk back out,” he said, later adding “I (thought) ‘what if we could add more seating?’” An expansion project will start Jan.
