Inside The List: State's publicly traded companies grew revenue but many have been cutting jobs

In fiscal year 2023, 34 publicly traded companies in Oregon and S.W. Washington grew revenue by 8.7% to 108 billion, but nearly half of them had net losses. As such, their overall net income fell by 19.3%, to 6.1 billion. In examining the PBJ's Public Companies List, it's also worth pointing out that 80% of the revenue posted by the region's public companies was collected by just two companies.
