Bond was set on Thursday at $50,000 for a Northwest Indiana man accused of home repair fraud after he was hired to work on an Algonquin home and didn't perform any repairs. A Kane County judge on Thursday set bond for Michael P. Geary, 39, of Portage, Indiana – more than a year after Kane County court records show that Geary was accused of failing to perform home repair work for the Algonquin resident and never repaying that person.
