Bond was set on Thursday at $50,000 for a Northwest Indiana man accused of home repair fraud after he was hired to work on an Algonquin home and didn't perform any repairs. A Kane County judge on Thursday set bond for Michael P. Geary, 39, of Portage, Indiana – more than a year after Kane County court records show that Geary was accused of failing to perform home repair work for the Algonquin resident and never repaying that person. Geary was charged on Sunday with one count of aggravated home repair fraud, court records show.
