JC man allegedly admits to trafficking meth in Hawkins for five months

ROGERSVILLE — A Johnson City man who was questioned and searched Thursday after Rogersville police stopped to investigate an apparent domestic disturbance allegedly admitted he's been transporting meth into Hawkins County to sell for five months. Paul Robert Drazen, 37, 1008 Quality Circle, Apt. 45, Johnson City, was arraigned Monday in Hawkins County Sessions Court on multiple charges, including possession of meth with intent to deliver in a school zone, possession of a firearm during commission of a dangerous felony, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana. Shortly after midnight Thursday, Rogersville Police Department Officer Andy Banks observed a Honda Civic hatchback with a temporary tag on East Main Street near the Food City.
