NASHVILLE — Luckily for motorists, gas prices are continuing to decline across the state and the nation. Tennessee’s average gas price is $2.43 per gallon for regular unleaded, the seventh lowest average in the nation. The average is 6 cents less than last week, 12 cents less than a month ago and 20 cents less than one year ago, AAA reported. Today’s national average is $2.64, which is 7 cents less expensive than last Monday, 13 cents less than a month ago and 21 cents cheaper than a year ago.
