Mathien and Myrtle Mathien, of 910 Pennell St., Chester, jumped from a moving car at Seventh Street and Morton Avenue yesterday and fell, hurting their knees and arms. They refused to go to the hospital.75 Years Ago - 1943: The petitions of three anti-McClure Republican candidates for Chester offices were thrown out last night by the county Bureau of Elections because of technicalities and alleged flaws in the lists of signatures.
