100 Years Ago - 1918: This is moving day for the Chester Police Department. Superintendent of Public Property John S. Miller informed Chief of Police John Vance this morning that everything is ready for the occupation of the new quarters and shortly after 1 o'clock the "moving brigade" started to carry the furniture and other paraphernalia to the new station house.
