As the city of Mount Clemens continues the celebration of it's 200th anniversary taking a look back to where it all began and how the city prospered on the world stage seems fitting.Christian Clemens, founded the city after first coming to the area in 1796 and at the time the area was known as "High Banks" or "Big Springs.
