The first group of Troy School District employees have completed two days of an intensive new active shooter training program called ALICE. All other staff and students will be trained in the program during the 2018-19 school year.ALICE, which stands for "Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate," is a different way of training for violent situations - one that gives participants several different pro-active options, rather than the single "traditional lockdown" method.
