3 things learned from UCF’s loss at West Virginia

MORGANTOWN, W.V. — UCF saw its postseason hopes go up in smoke as West Virginia’s CJ Donaldson scored two rushing touchdowns, leading the Mountaineers to a 31-21 win over the Knights Saturday. The loss knocks UCF (4-7) out of bowl contention and guarantees back-to-back losing seasons for the first time since the 2015-16 seasons. Dylan Rizk continues to grow The redshirt freshman quarterback, who was making his third career start and second straight on the road, completed 52% (11 of 21) of his passes for 172 yards and a touchdown. Rizk wasn’t perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but his biggest highlight was finding Kobe Hudson on a 45-yard pass midway through the third quarter.
