Sprint store robber testifies that man on trial was his driver

Thomas James, 34, who is serving a 19-year sentence after pleading guilty to the robbery, told jurors that Randy Williams, 28, drove him to the store, waited in the car, then drove off with him and some of the loot. URBANA — A Kankakee man serving a 19-year prison sentence for robbing a Champaign cellphone store at gunpoint told a federal jury that Randy Williams was the person who drove him to and from the store.
