Oakland County Parks and Recreation property tax to bring in $13.4 million for parks system

Oakland County taxpayers can expect to pay slightly less in property taxes to support the county's parks system. In 2017, residents paid a 0.2368 tax rate, or $0.2368 per $1,000 of their home's taxable value, to support the operations of the Oakland County Parks and Recreation Department. That equated to $47.
