Como's in Ferndale gets another slice of life with new owners

Closed for seven months following health code violations, Como's restaurant in Ferndale now has a new owner.The news was greeted with optimism by Ferndale city and downtown leaders. The restaurant is planned to open again in spring 2019.Owners of Peas and Carrots Hospitality, led by chef and owner Zack Sklar, announced they closed on the sale Wednesday and are keeping the name of the restaurant at Nine Mile and Woodward when they reopen it with an Italian "pizza-centered" menu and a selection of beers on tap.
