KINGSPORT - Betty Jewel (Quillen) Gibson, 81, Kingsport, TN passed away, Friday, January 19, 2018 at Holston Manor, Kingsport, TN. Born in Scott County, VA on September 15, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Ezra Conrad and Laura Velva (McDavid) Quillen. In addition to her parents, her daughter, Edna Wyatt; sisters, Blanche and Pauline; and brothers, Kenny, Lloyd, Paul, Kyle, and Charles preceded her in death. Her survivors include her daughters, Brenda Holston and husband, Jim, Kingsport, TN, and JoAnn Flanary and husband, Roger, Kingsport, TN; son, Rick Gibson and wife, Karen, Gate City, VA; grandchildren, Becky, Andrew, Jennifer, Jessica and Kayla; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny Quillen and wife, Joyce, Duffield, VA; along with several nieces and nephews.
