Comment on Heavy recruitment leaves Union star Mitchell 'humbled'

BIG STONE GAP — In the blink of an eye, it seems, it’s happened. Union’s James Mitchell is a senior. “It feels like just yesterday that I was a freshman,” Mitchell said. “I was nervous before every practice and game.” A lot has changed for Mitchell since his freshman year. Last season he earned VHSL Group 2A all-state honors at both tight end and linebacker. “I'm confident going into this final season,” the Bears star said.
