Three New Milford area shops linked to E. coli outbreak

Three greater New Milford area retailers are believed to have gotten beef from a slaughterhouse associated with an E. coli outbreak, according to the state Department of Public Health. The Sherman IGA in Sherman, the Davis IGA in Kent and the Ox Hollow Farm in Roxbury are all believed to have received “beef, veal and buffalo products that have been recalled by Adams Farm Slaughterhouse, LLC” in Athol, Massachusetts, according to a United States Department of Agriculture press release.
