A Danbury man wielding a baseball bat struck out Friday when he tried to collect on a $40 debt, police said. Police said Felipe Carmo, 22 of Harvard Road, forced his way into a Spruce Street residence seeking the money he said he was owed for a baseball hat. But after the victim alerted police, Carmo was arrested after leaving the home empty handed. Carmo is charged with 1st degree burglary and threatening, police said.
