A Danbury man wielding a baseball bat struck out Friday when he tried to collect on a $40 debt, police said. Police said Felipe Carmo, 22 of Harvard Road, forced his way into a Spruce Street residence seeking the money he said he was owed for a baseball hat. But after the victim alerted police, Carmo was arrested after leaving the home empty handed. Carmo is charged with 1st degree burglary and threatening, police said. Bond was set at $5,000.
