A motion hearing was held Monday in the case, and jury selection is scheduled to begin next Tuesday, Assistant State’s Attorney Colleen Zingaro said. Authorities have not released much information on the case, but police have said Williams was watching Ayden and a 2-year-old son by another woman when an ambulance was called for a medical emergency at his Housman Street home. An autopsy by the state Office of Chief Medical Examiner determined the toddler died of blunt force trauma to the head and subdural hemorrhaging.
