The subscription-based streaming service that will allow local fans to watch Nuggets and Avalanche games is now available to download on mobile devices and Apple TV, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment announced Wednesday. Public health officials confirmed Wednesday that the sole fatality from a recent 10-state E. coli outbreak linked to McDonald’s Quarter Pounder hamburgers was a Mesa County resident, while 10 of Colorado’s confirmed cases also came from the Western Slope county. State health officials have not released the identity of the individual who died, but previously said the person was older and had underlying health conditions. At least 26 people in Colorado have been sickened by the outbreak, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Two men were arrested Friday after allegedly kidnapping and assaulting their roommate for two days, including cutting off his finger, in Denver’s Westwood neighborhood. The man reported the kidnapping Thursday at a Denver Police Department district station, where he told officers that four people he lived with held him against his will in the 500 block of South Hazel Court and assaulted him, including cutting off one of his fingers, department officials said in an email. The man was able to escape after two days. Investigators identified two suspects in the case and arrested Jose Pineda-Moreno, 19, and Darwin Veliz-Gonzalez, 34, on suspicion of first-degree kidnapping, assault and criminal extortion on Friday. Colorado’s eight collared wolves remaining in the wild stayed in the north-central mountains and plains over the last month, according to a monthly tracking map released Wednesday. The wolves’ territory included areas around Steamboat Springs, Walden and Kremmling. They also wandered to the north of Interstate 70 in Summit and Eagle counties, according to the Colorado Parks and Wildlife map, which covers late September and most of October. The state’s known wolf population now stands at 14: seven survivors among the 10 adults reintroduced by the state in December, plus five pups from the Copper Creek pack and two adults from a pack established earlier by wolves that migrated from Wyoming. One of the reintroduced wolves and four of her pups remain in captivity after CPW biologists removed them from the wild in late August and early September.
