A man has been charged with murder after police found him hiding near the scene of a fatal shooting in Commerce City last week. Fabian Benitez, 30, was charged with first-degree murder by the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, according to a news release. Choi created fake text messages, altered her cellphone records and ultimately destroyed her laptop and phone to try to sell her deceit, the 26-page ruling found.

Colorado’s public health experts are urging awareness of the symptoms of norovirus, saying infections are climbing along with cases of seasonal respiratory illnesses.
