Colorado’s public health experts are urging awareness of the symptoms of norovirus, saying infections are climbing along with cases of seasonal respiratory illnesses. The virus primarily affects the digestive system — causing nausea, diarrhea and vomiting — and can be transmitted by coming into contact with or eating food prepared by an infected person.
