A night that started with UH (2-0) yielding a few easy baskets concluded with them not allowing a field goal in the final four minutes to the experienced and talented Wolverines (1-1). The redshirt freshman from Yates hit three 3-pointers in a stretch of 2:19 to help the Cougars stretch the lead to 65-55. Harris (20 points), who also hit a career high in scoring, helped pace the Cougars in several areas, leading the team in rebounds (nine), steals (two) and adding a blocked shot while shooting 7-of-12 from the field and showing and improved outside shooting touch.
