Fugitive arrested at Willoughby hotel

A man wanted by the U.S. Marshal's Violent Fugitive Task Force was arrested Aug. 15 at a Willoughby hotel. The marshals along with the Ohio Adult Parole Agency were looking for 37-year-old John Shear, whose last known address was near the 2100 block of W. 81st Street in Cleveland. Sheer was wanted for a parole violation.

 

'Evita' enters last weekend at Rabbit Run Theater

Rabbit Run Theater in Madison has one more weekend left for you to catch "Evita." Winner of seven Tony Awards including Best Musical, "Evita" features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics and book by Tim Rice. "Evita" runs through Aug. 18. Lake County pair faces felony charges

A Mentor-on-the-Lake woman and Mentor man faced a judge in Mentor Municipal Court in connection to an Aug. 13 incident, court records there show. Taylor D. Fox, 23, of 6006 Goldenrod Road, and William R. McNeely, 24, of 4764 Corduroy Road, were both arraigned Aug. 14 for felony offenses, court files confirm.
