CRIME REPORTS: April 8, 2017

Felonies
The following people were booked into the Lee County-Tupelo Adult Jail in connection with felony charges ending Friday at 11 a.m.
• Cleatonia Burns, 34, of Starkville, was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, abuse of a vulnerable person.
• Amber Long, 27, of Tupelo, was arrested by the Tupelo Police Department, child endangerment.

 

Postgame interviews: Kentucky (Friday)

Mississippi State fell to No. 8 Kentucky 5-2 on Friday night as the Wildcats plated three runs in the top of the ninth inning. The Bulldogs had their chances to blow the game open and coach Andy Cannizaro and senior left fielder Cody Brown comment on those missed opportunities.

Mississippi State quarterback Nick Fitzgerald is playing in his fourth spring game today and talked about how this one will be different from last year. Fitzgerald also says the Bulldogs will be pretty basic offensively today.
