CHICOPEE, Mass. (AP) — Lottery ticket buyers hoping to use the same Massachusetts machine as the recent $758.7 million Powerball jackpot winner are out of luck.
The Massachusetts State Lottery has retired the machine that printed the winning ticket belonging to Mavis Wanczyk. The Powerball jackpot she claimed last week is the largest grand prize won by a lottery ticket in U.S. history.

Angels for Veterans is a nonprofit 501c3 organization whose focus is service and companion dogs for veterans. Service dogs provide assistance to veterans with disabilities such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Mobility, hearing assistance, and visually impaired. Companion dogs do not have full public access. They are just as the name implies, companions-nice obedience trained dogs for veterans who need the company of a loving, tail wagging best friend.

Pardoning Joe Arpaio was a smokescreen that does nothing to resolve the status of this country’s 11 million undocumented residents. They need a path out of the shadows that allow them to be exploited by unscrupulous employers and criminals who know they are afraid to go to the police.

The left, which long ago exceeded its sell-by date when it comes to ideas that work, denounced the decision as racist (that’s all they have) and a perversion of justice. Some moderates, like Sen. John McCain and Sen. Jeff Flake, both Arizona Republicans, Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, joined the critics.
