Judge gives company more time to empty wood pellets from silos

Judge Donald Floyd signed an amended injunction order last week giving German Pellets Texas and Texas Pellets Inc. more time to meet the requirements set by the City of Port Arthur and agreed to in June.
That injunction, which expired on Oct. 12, is now effective through Oct. 31.

 

Human remains found in Pinehurst

Orange County officials discovered human remains in a wooded area near MacArthur Drive in Pinehurst on Monday, they announced Thursday morning.
