WASHINGTON (AP) — Donald Trump’s personnel choices for his new Cabinet and White House reflect his signature positions on immigration and trade but also a range of viewpoints and backgrounds that raise questions about what ideological anchors might guide his Oval Office encore.

I’m not sure what to say to my friend in witness protection. I’ve never thought of not being offered pot as a character flaw or sign of dorkiness. Quite the contrary. (My 91- and 92-year old parents, who likely are reading this, would agree.)

Hollywood is planning to show off its new downtown reboot with Boots on the Boulevard, a country-music block party, on Sunday, Dec. 8.
The free event will take place on Hollywood Boulevard between 19th and 20th avenues, the centerpiece of a nearly 18-month reconstruction project on the city’s main business thoroughfare, which is lined with downtown’s most popular restaurants and bars.
