NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- BP shares are climbing 1.7% to $41.93 in trading on Tuesday as rising oil prices buoyed the sector today.Industry standard Brent crude contracts for May delivery are up 1.64% to $58.88 per barrel, while West Texas crude for May delivery also climbs 2.97% to $53.45 per barrel. The rise in prices were enough to counteract an analyst note from Citi today that downgraded the company's shares to "neutral" from "buy" amid concerns about the company's valuation."We think the market now better reflects the inherent value in BP.
