Chicago Blackhawks left wing Tyler Bertuzzi and his wife, Ashley, in August paid $2.3 million for a six-bedroom, 4,000-square-foot newly built house in Lakeview. Bertuzzi, 29, joined the Blackhawks in July when he signed a four-year, $22 million contract with the team. An Ontario native, Bertuzzi previously had played in parts of seven seasons with NHL teams, including the Detroit Red Wings and the Boston Bruins. In Lakeview, the Bertuzzis’ new house has six bathrooms, two fireplaces, a family room with custom built-ins and floor-to-ceiling windows, a primary bedroom suite with dual walk-in closets and a primary bathroom with a steam shower, heated floors and two custom vanity cabinets.
