Bedford Police Seize Drugs That Look Like Kid's Vitamins

BY DOMINGO RAMIREZ JR. BEDFORD -- A traffic stop has led authorities to seize a handful of ecstasy tablets, some imprinted with a Transformer logo and a few others made to resemble the head of cartoon character Bart Simpson, police said Wednesday. Some tablets even had the logo of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on them, making them all look like children’s chewable vitamins or candies, police said.About 15 blue, green and yellow tablets were seized from a car during a traffic stop last week, police said Wednesday. The seizure raised concerns by police that a new wave of ecstasy tablets were in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.According to DEA reports released in December, ecstasy tablets similar to the ones seized by Bedford police have been confiscated throughout the country.
