Arizona Corporation Commissioner Robert Burns is demanding Arizona Public Service Co. and parent company Pinnacle West disclose 2014 campaign contributions. “(APS’) support for any candidate should be open and transparent,” said Burns in a letter to Pinnacle West and APS CEO Don Brandt. “Your unwillingness to disclose this information leads to a variety of unfortunate perceptions.” Burns was not available for an interview, but a spokeswoman for the ACC referred media to the letter.
