A woman was rescued Sunday night after climbing onto the rocks in the bay outside an upscale seafood restaurant on the Embarcadero in San Francisco, authorities said. The rescue occurred about 9 p.m. at 399 The Embarcadero, just outside Waterbar, said Lt. Jonathan Baxter of the San Francisco Fire Department. Firefighters and medics removed the woman from rocks within minutes and transported her to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It is unknown how or why she got onto the rocks, Baxter said. “It didn’t appear to be anything nefarious,” he said.
