Boulder County sheriff’s deputies are investigating after a woman was found dead near Jamestown on Saturday. Deputies responded to reports of a missing person in the 200 block of Ridge Road in unincorporated Boulder County around 9 p.m. Saturday, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. While searching, deputies found the body of an unidentified 49-year-old woman. Investigators said the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death “appear suspicious” and that they were talking with people who knew her. No information about what made the death suspicious and any potential suspects was available on Sunday, but sheriff’s officials said there is no ongoing threat to the public.
