The granddaughter of a senior couple found shot to death in their home several months ago has been charged in connection to their murder, police and family say. Jalisa Hill, 38, is accused of plotting with her ex-boyfriend, Maurice Newson, to murder Claudette Melvin, 85, and Major Melvin, 89, in their home in March.
