The Winchester High girls indoor track team defeated Reading, 45.5-40.5 on Tuesday, Jan. 3.Augusta Burhans won the 55-meter dash in 7.58 seconds and the long jump at 15 feet, 3 ½ inches.The Sachems also picked up second-place finishes in both of those events, with Isabel Bruno in the dash (7.77) and Ila Iverson in the long jump (14-3 ½).
