The Winchester High boys tennis team avenged a loss in last year’s Division 2 North tournament, defeating defending state champion Wayland, 3-2 on Tuesday, June 12 at the Winchester Swim and Tennis Club.Winchester will play Belmont for the North title on Friday, June 15 at Reading High School (3:30 p.m.).Noah Criss won at first singles, 6-1, 6-2.The first doubles team of Grant Andrews and Will Hofheinz won, 6-1, 6-0.
