Park County Sheriff's Office spokesman Monte Gore told KUSA-TV (http://on9news.tv/1Esdf1T ) on Sunday that that no homes or livestock were threatened by the Snyder Creek II fire, which was burning three miles southeast of Kenosha Pass. Meanwhile, near Durango, residents of about 20 homes near a brush fire burning along the Animas River were asked to voluntarily evacuate on Sunday.
