A fan threatened the Manchester United striker on Tuesday night saying: "Rooney ya fat whore ill smash ya head in with a pitchin wedge an bury ya with a ballast fork ya fat ugly lil nonse."Rooney responded with a threat of his own and challenged the fan to a fight.
