A VTA bus caught fire on southbound Highway 101 in San Jose on Wednesday, blocking traffic at the end of the evening commute, the California Highway Patrol said. Authorities reopened all lanes but the No. 1 after firefighters deemed the vehicle safe and were awaiting a tow truck at about 6:30 p.m.
