MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Nuggets forward Vlatko Cancar exited a game against the Grizzlies with a sprained left knee on Tuesday night and did not return. Cancar finished a driving dunk in the second quarter and immediately struggled to put weight on his left leg. He asked for a sub while reaching for his left knee — the same knee in which he tore his ACL in 2023, causing him to miss all of last season. The Nuggets officially ruled Cancar out at halftime. He was dealing with a right ankle injury early this season but was cleared to play at the beginning of the three-game road trip that ended Tuesday.
