A month after allegations of a racial assault on a CDTA bus, a police timeline revealed more details about the incident, and the three women accused of lying about it and attacking fellow passengers pleaded not guilty during an arraignment. The three women, who are black, claimed to have been attacked by a group of between 12 and 20 people, including white men, while some hurled racial slurs and others stood by and did nothing. Burwell and Agudio were also charged with misdemeanor falsely reporting an incident in connection with 911 calls they made to police immediately after the confrontation. A timeline by the University Police Department alleges that at 1:04 a.m., Burwell climbed over a seat and struck Mary Glisson in the head and face with her hands. The UPD criminal complaint called these statements "false and baseless, and grossly different from the incident which actually occurred." The timeline was compiled by UPD Investigator Benjamin Nagy from CDTA bus footage, witness testimony, cellphone videos, medical documents and victim statements.
