PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Two movies made in Rhode Island during 2016 will each have a world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah in January.One is "The Discovery" a science-fiction romance filmed in Newport last spring starring Sundance founder Robert Redford as a scientist who proves the existence of an afterlife.The other is "The Polka King," starring Jack Black in the true story of Jan Lewan, a Pennsylvania polka star who got caught running a Ponzi scheme.
