Stories Related to Transformer Fire In Oxnard Causes Power Outage

A transformer explosion at an Oxnard construction site Tuesday caused a power outage in the area, officials said. The incident was reported about 1:10 p.m. near Victoria Avenue and Hemlock Street. Oxnard firefighters quickly extinguished a blaze caused by the explosion, and Southern California Edison crews cut power in the area.
