ROGERSVILLE — A Hawkins County man who was free on a total of $120,000 bond for two previous traffic stop arrests for meth trafficking and gun possession was arrested early Tuesday for cocaine possession as a result of another traffic stop. Shortly after midnight, Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office Detective Gary Lawson reportedly spotted a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander traveling 68 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 66-N north of Rogersville. The Mitsubishi, which was being driven by Bobby Lee Barker, then turned onto Shephards Chapel Road, at which time Lawson activated his blue lights and attempted a traffic stop. Barker continued on for about two miles before stopping.
